I investigate the phenomena that drive our lives, at the intersection of physics and social systems.
With over 8 years of research experience, I take open-ended questions and systematize their study through a first-principles lens.
I am currently building social systems models @ Northwestern University as a complexity physics Ph.D. candidate. I am interested in questions that harness city data to create safety, equity, and justice for all.
The Scale-Free Dynamics of U.S. Cities Ph.D. in Physics, Complexity Northwestern University Jan 2022 - PresentI also co-lead a global collaboration to study the science of science @ Max Planck Institute. We are building a first of its kind global demographic map of academic growth, migration, and survival inequality.
A Global Measure of Scientific Equality Visiting Data Scientist Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research, Germany Jun 2023 - PresentI love working with people. As a core data science consultant @ Northwestern, I have enjoyed helping 10+ teams design sound empirical data studies and ship explainable "white-box" models.
See My Consult Work Core Consultant Northwestern University Research Data Services Aug 2023 - PresentI care about accessibility. I believe in making technical ideas legible, useful, and reachable outside the small rooms where they are usually discussed.
